Poster Guidelines

The poster exhibition will be located in the Exhibition Hall on the ground floor of the Knavesmire Suite at York Racecourse.

Presenters will be informed of their allocated poster number at the end of October. The abstract of your poster will be printed in the Final Programme, in an online supplement with the 'Ultrasound' journal and online on the BMUS website.

Please read the poster details below carefully.

  • The poster board will be Portrait - 2 metres high by 1metre wide. (An A0 size portrait poster fits well on the board) This is particularly important as we cannot accommodate landscape posters.

  • All posters must be attached with Velcro, which you should bring with you.

  • Poster viewing will take place throughout the conference, therefore posters MUST be displayed from 09.00 on 7th December (you can access the venue from 08:00) and should NOT be removed prior to 15.00 on 9th December.  Any posters displayed after 09.00 may be excluded from the poster judging which will take place on Day 1 & 2 of the conference.

  • It is essential that patient anonymity is maintained for all posters submitted. No poster should have any patient information i.e. name, date, hospital identity number, displayed either in the text or on images.

Poster Numbers

Poster numbers will be allocated to accepted posters during October, these will be advised subsequently to each author.
