Therapy Ultrasound Network for Drug Delivery & Ablation Research

This is the abstract submission system Therapy Ultrasound Network for Drug Delivery & Ablation Research (ThUnDDAR) taking place on Tuesday 30th November 2021 at Ultrasound 2021.

ThUNDDAR is multi-disciplinary network of therapeutic ultrasound experts. Our aim is to promote clinical use of therapeutic ultrasound. Therapeutic ultrasound (ThUS) has enormous potential as a minimally invasive treatment modality with applications ranging from the treatment of cancer and stroke, to fracture healing and neuromodulation.  

Closing date for abstract 7th October 2021.

Submission Information :

It is recommended that you write your abstract in Word and then paste your abstract into the form using the 'word paste' tab for submission. This is the prefered method, however, if you experience problems please use the upload file facility.

To submit an abstract for consideration to the society, please follow the instructions below.

Author Details

  • The primary author will be the corresponding author, these details will be used for all correspondence.
  • In the 'Add Additional Authors' tab, please enter the names and details of ALL authors, in the order they are to appear in the published abstract
  • Please indicate who will be the presenting author, if different from the first author

Scientific Abstract

  • Use no more than 300 words for the abstract
  • Please structure the abstract, where possible to include the following information :
    • The background and purpose of the study
    • The methods used
    • The results obtained (using numerical data if available)
    • The conclusions drawn from the work

Case Studies

  • Use no more than 300 words for the abstract
  • Please structure the abstract, where possible, to include the following information
    • Background
    • Case Report
    • Discussion

Submission Deadline

The deadline for submission of proffered papers and posters is Friday 7th October 2021
