Ultra-Sound Ideas: The Ultrasound Innovation Pitch
BMUS Research Grant
This year BMUS are pleased to introduce Ultra-Sound Ideas: The Ultrasound Innovation Pitch.
This will be a session on Day 2 of the conference where successful applicants will have the opportunity to pitch for a grant to undertake research. This grant is open to BMUS Members ONLY.
There will be several grants available of up to £5000.
The application process will consist of two rounds;
Round 1
Complete the application form, include financial costings and timelines.
To be submitted by 15th August 2025 to emma@bmus.org.
Shortlisted applications will be notified on the week beginning the 15th September
Round 2
Successful proposals will be invited to present their application. This will be an 8 minute presentation with 7 minutes for panel questions.
The presentation should focus on how the project will meet one of the BMUS grant objectives.
This session is scheduled for 10th December 2025 from 11.05.
BMUS Grant Objectives
While BMUS is keen to receive research proposals that meet the theme of Ultrasound 2025: Guiding Excellence – Nurturing the Next Generation, we will also consider applications not meeting this theme.
All applications will be judged on merit.
