| Manifesto: |
I am familiar with the BMUS team, their headquarters and their requirements as a charity. I actively promote BMUS as the leading multi-disciplinary national body, citing their publications in business cases and SOPs. I chair a special interest group for lead sonographers across Scotland and have a keen interest in education. I speak at study days for BMUS and the ASM. This year, I am co-chairing a professional issues stream. As a consultant sonographer since 2010, I have a wealth of experience in reviewing documents, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and writing guidelines. Best practice guidelines are so valuable to practising sonographers, and I have the skills and experience to contribute effectively. I understand the pertinence of sonographers' input into research. |

I have good organisational skills; this year at the National US Training programme, I developed nine immersive masterclasses in multiple ultrasound specialities. I am a skilled communicator and collaborator. I am a past member of SCOR Ultrasound Advisory Group and a current member of SCOR DIAG. I am a skilled presenter and lecturer. I chair Scotland's National Gynaecology Reference Group with members from General Practice, Radiology, Gynaecology and Sexual and Reproductive Health. The group is exploring more consistency in reporting and training across Scotland. |
