Paediatric Study Day 2025
26th Sep 2025
Location: NCVO, Regents Wharf, 8 All Saints St, London N1 9RL
BMUS is pleased to present the Paediatrics Study Day 2025, taking place in London on 26th September. This one-day event offers a focused and practical programme aimed at sonographers, radiologists, paediatric clinicians, and all professionals involved in paediatric imaging.
The day will explore the evolving role of ultrasound in diagnosing a wide range of conditions in children—from acute presentations to complex pathologies. Sessions will include imaging approaches to the acute abdomen, recognition of abdominal inflammatory diseases, and a two-part series on abdominal masses, covering both gastrointestinal/hepatopancreatobiliary (GI/HPB) and genitourinary (GU) causes.
Attendees will gain confidence in assessing less commonly scanned regions, including ultrasound of the paediatric chest and neck lymphadenopathy and masses, as well as the critical evaluation of the sick neonate using ultrasound in high-dependency settings.
The programme also places strong emphasis on musculoskeletal ultrasound, showcasing how ultrasound can be used as a problem-solving tool in paediatric MSK injuries, with additional sessions on acute joint pathology and soft tissue masses in children.
Designed to combine practical insight with clinical relevance, this study day will be an invaluable learning opportunity for professionals looking to advance their expertise in paediatric ultrasound.
