Description: Join BMUS and University College Dublin for a highly informative Study Day on Professional Issues, General Medical Ultrasound and Obstetric ultrasound. The morning programme, for all attendees, addresses Professional Issues - touching on issues the role of Practice Educators, Preceptorship, and AI.
For the afternoon session, attendees may choose between Stream A (Gen Med) or Stream B (Obstetrics).
Stream A (Gen Med) will feature talks on liver surveillance, jaundice imaging, and paediatric abdomen and hepatobiliary ultrasound.
Stream B (Obstetrics) will feature live demonstrations on foetal doppler, and lectures on foetal cardiac screening, placenta accreta, and C-Section scars.
We will also be offering a practical workshop on Liver Segments and Doppler (Elastography) at an additional cost. Those wishing to partake will be able to attend this from 14.40 - 15.45.
The campus has good public transport connections and road links.
