Committees & Groups

IMUS committees provide focused areas of activity within the Society and play an important role in developing and progressing the objectives of IMUS. Each committee brings together members with relevant experience, expertise, and interest to support the Society’s work in education, professional standards, scientific development, publications, events, membership, and governance.

Committees meet independently to discuss ideas, develop proposals, review activities, and make recommendations to the IMUS Council. Final approval for key decisions rests with Council, ensuring that all committee work supports the overall aims, strategy, and values of the Society.

Committee membership provides an opportunity for IMUS members to contribute directly to the development of the Society. Members are encouraged to share their ideas, participate in committee activities, and help shape the future direction of IMUS. Through its committees, IMUS aims to ensure that the Society remains responsive to the needs of its members and representative of the wider professional community.
