Getting Here:

Cheltenham is well connected by road and rail and is easily accessible from across the UK. The town is located just off the M5 motorway and is served by direct train services from London and other major cities.

By Car

Cheltenham is conveniently located close to the M5 motorway.

  • From the South:
    Leave the M5 at Junction 11 and follow signs for Cheltenham and Cheltenham Racecourse.

  • From the North:
    Leave the M5 at Junction 10 and follow signs for Cheltenham and Cheltenham Racecourse.

Sat-nav users should use the postcode GL50 4SH.

 

Car Parking

On-site parking is available at Cheltenham Racecourse on event days and is clearly signposted on arrival. Charges and availability may vary depending on the event. 

Accessible parking is available for Blue Badge holders (subject to availability).

 

By Train

Cheltenham Spa is the nearest mainline railway station, located approximately 2 miles from the racecourse.

Direct and frequent services run to Cheltenham Spa from:

  • London Paddington
  • Birmingham
  • Bristol
  • Cardiff

From Cheltenham Spa station, the racecourse can be reached by taxi or local bus services.

 

 

By Bus

Local bus services operate regularly between Cheltenham town centre, Cheltenham Spa railway station, and the racecourse area.
