Webinar: The use of ultrasound in Rheumatology - Booking Closed

20th Jan 2021

What would you like to know from your Rheumatologist and what would they like to know from you?

In recent years, diagnostic ultrasound has been increasingly used in rheumatological practice, primarily in the detection of active inflammatory arthritis, but also in vascular conditions such as Giant Cell Arteritis and for patients on treatment for inflammatory conditions who may be at risk of side effects such as liver disease.

This pre-recorded webinar aims to cover the common inflammatory arthritides, giving insight into diagnosis, treatment and the role of ultrasound in a Rheumatology service.  This will be followed by a discussion between a Sonographer and a Rheumatology registrar around the clinical rationale of requesting ultrasound scans and interpretation of their results.

We will compliment this webinar with a live Q and A session on Wednesday 20th January at 8.00pm

Dr Muhamad Jasim - Senior Clinical Research Fellow, Rheumatology, Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust

Miss Alison Hall - Consultant MSK Sonographer, Keele University/RWT

The webinar is scheduled for release at 7pm Wednesday 20th January. The Webinar will be available to watch from 7pm on 20th November until midday on 3rd February.
