BMUS MSK Study Weekend

12th to 13th May 2018

Location: University of Keele, Research Institute for Primary Care & Health Sciences

The aim of the study weekend is to introduce competent sonographers from any profession to the field of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. A team of experienced MSK sonographers will deliver presentations on several aspects of MSK ultrasound and provide ‘hands-on’ training using high quality ultrasound systems. The team will be available throughout the weekend for discussion and advice and delegates are invited to join the special interest group for ongoing support.

This course can be booked as either a complete weekend or singular days. 

Saturday 12th May will cover ultrasound of the shoulder

Sunday 13th May will cover upper limb, lower limb, lumps, bumps, hearnia and Rheumatology. This will be run across 2 streams in the morning and 2 streams in the afternoon. At the time of registration you will need to select your morning and afternoon stream. 

Morning Streams

Stream A: Lower Limb

Stream B: Rheumatology Ultrasound

Afternoon Streams

Stream C: Upper Limb

Stream D: Lumps, Bumps, Hip and Hernia 

All sessions will be combination of lectures and hands-on workshops with live models.
