Nominations for BMUS Council now open

We are now inviting nominations from UK-based BMUS members to join the BMUS Council. Several positions will become vacant at the end of 2026, offering a valuable opportunity to contribute to the direction and development of the Society.
Council Vacancies:
- 2 General Council Members
BMUS Council comprises up to 18 members, 12 of whom are elected by the membership. These 12 elected roles must include at least two medical practitioners, two sonographers, and two physical scientists.

How to Apply:
To submit a nomination, please complete the online nomination form by midnight on Tuesday 15th September 2026.
Before you begin your application, please ensure you have:
- A proposer and a seconder (both must be BMUS members)
- A short summary of your current role and relevant experience
