Guidance for Ultrasound Assessment of Endometriosis

New ultrasound guidance for the diagnosis of endometriosis has been launched with BMUS, in collaboration with BSGE.

Designed to support the ultrasound workforce at every level, the guidance introduces a tiered framework of expertise and a clear anatomical approach to assessment. Its aim is simple and urgent: to improve detection, strengthen multidisciplinary working and help reduce the current eight-year average delay to diagnosis.

This is an important step towards efficient and more consistent care for people living with endometriosis.
