Articles may be related to any field of medical ultrasound. Your article should be: o  A review, research paper, or case report o  Completed within the last two years o  Supported by your academic supervisor Before submitting your article please ensure that your manuscript adheres to the Notes for Contributors listed on the journal website: http://ult.rsmjournals.com/misc/authors.dtl All articles should be submitted via the Ultrasound online Manuscript Central site at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ult. Please state that you wish your article to be considered for the journal prize in your cover letter. The prize is limited to student entries but does not exclude non-BMUS members. Terms and Conditions: Articles for publication in 2010 must be received by 1st August 2010. The winner will be announced in the February 2011 issue of the journal. Winners will be contacted within one week of announcing the results. The article must be authored by a postgraduate student or relate to a postgraduate project completed within the last two years. Authors must abide with standard terms and conditions for publication in Ultrasound. The prize is not open to anyone professionally connected with the competition. The judges' decision is final.    Ultrasound Image Competition WINNERS FROM 2010: We are pleased to announce the four winners of the BMUS ‘Ultrasound’ Image competition sponsored by MIUS. Each of the winners receives a cash prize and a year’s free BMUS membership. Their images will also appear on the front of the BMUS journal ‘Ultrasound’ during 2011. Congratulations go to - Antonios Perperidis, PhD student, University of Edinburgh, for his images of ‘Broken Heart Syndrome’   Karen Letourneau, Canada, for her ‘Duodenal Ant Farm’ Camelia Dobrica, MSc student, Fife Rheumatic Diseases Unit, for her manipulated images of ‘Musculoskeletal Ultrasound’ David Thomas, University of Edinburgh, for his image of an ‘Exploding Microbubble’ WINNERS FROM 2009: We are pleased to announce the 4 winners of the BMUS ‘Ultrasound’ Image competition, sponsored by Sony.
