This 1 day hands-on study day will provide background knowledge and introduction to practical skills in managing patients with lower limb venous disease. It will concentrate on DVT (deep vein thrombosis), but basics of venous insufficiency will also be covered. After the study day participants will be able to perform above and below knee US of lower limb deep veins and recognise acute and chronic thrombosis, as well as become familiar with the most commonly encountered findings other than DVT.
