| Introduction
Harrogate programme |
|
I would like to write a few words to introduce this years'
Scientific Programme. For BMUS 2007, we have tried to give delegates what they
have asked for at previous meetings. For example, experts telling us how they
do it - and how not to do it! Ultrasound is a dynamic specialty, so we have
endeavoured this year to include more live demonstrations of scanning and more
workshops than ever before. Watch and learn from the experts and grab the
opportunity to watch live teaching from some of the leading exponents in
Ultrasound today.
Interaction between speakers and delegates is always to be encouraged, and with
this in mind, we have more interactive sessions this year, whether you try your
hand at the interactive quiz or join in the debates and discussion forums - we
welcome your input.
Last, but by no means least, I must thank my fellow members of the organising
committee and all the other colleagues who have generously given their time and
energy to create this year's programme. In particular, special thanks must go
to Pam Parker, Colin Deane, Simon Freeman, Lol Berman, Phil Hughes and Pam
Loughna. On behalf of my team, I would like to express our gratitude to the
manufacturers who continue to support BMUS this year.
Diolch! (and see you in Harrogate) |
